Hundreds of people greeted the painting of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu back to its sanctuary last Friday week, having been brought to Malta for the papal Mass on April 19. Archbishop Paul Cremona led a concelebrated Mass, together with the Apostolic Nuncio Tommaso Caputo, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech , Bishop Nikol Cauchi, Mgr Annetto Depasquale, Bishop Pawlu Darmanin and Emeritus Archbishop Joseph Mercieca outside the sanctuary. Present for the celebration were, among others, President George Abela and Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi.
