Two men in a rented car (!) show up to patch a hole in Triq it-Tiben, one of the many lunar looking streets in Swieqi that needs a complete rebuild. They throw some tarmac, give it a couple of hits with their shovel and drive off. Call the local council to point out what's going on and the incredible reply is: "Sorry sir but we don't have the tools for this kind of patching and it's only a temporary fix."

But it's okay to throw our tax money away I say.
