Adult revelers filled the streets of Nadur last night as the famous unique carnival was celebrated.

The carnival, known for its spontaneity and lack of rules rather than bright colours, has attracted controversy when revelers dressed as religious figures were arrested two years ago.

Although there did not seem to be any ‘priests and nuns’ this year, one could not help noticing the ‘freedom fighters’, SWAT personnel, mummies resuscitated from the pyramids and old and Arriva buses.

Cardboard pizza was also provided for the hungry.

The Nadur carnival continues tonight.
