The Sunday Circle, Malta’s leading lifestyle magazine, is now also available in an interactive, digital edition through the new Times of Malta App, TOM Mag, which is available for free download on all smartphones and tablets.
The monthly magazine is the first from Allied Newspapers' stable of magazine to go digital. The print edition will continue to be distributed monthly with The Sunday Times of Malta, with the next one out on November 18.
The TOM Mag app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and Apple Store straight onto your mobile device, with Sunday Circle magazine available on it. In this version, the monthly digest of stories covering people, culture, sports, fashion, health, travel, education and business comes alive with multi-media features, video content and expanded image galleries that let the reader go deeper and further into a Sunday Circle story than ever before.
To celebrate the launch of the digital edition, all those who download the TOM Mag app and who access Sunday Circle are invited to take part in a number of competitions, with the biggest prize offering a holiday for two in the snow in Livigno. There's also a €1,000 shopping spree and branded goodies up for grabs.
The App boasts cutting edge interactive features, including a scrollable table of contents that lets you navigate through the magazine in seconds, a bookmarking feature that saves all your favourite stories, pop-up captions that help you understand the story better, animated infographics that give you details on tap, and three-dimensional views of products that bring them to life.
Because the magazine is made available directly through an app – as opposed to a standard website – there is no need to wait for things to load or download; the experience is seamless. And past editions of the magazine can be archived in order not to take up space on the device, with the option to re-download later.
The October edition of the magazine, which can be now experienced digitally through the App, includes an exclusive video interview with Amici by Maria de Philippi starlet Emma Muscat, our very own home-grown singer who keeps wowing Maltese and international audiences.
This edition also introduces readers to two of our digital App ambassadors, actor and director Alan Montanaro and influencer Grazielle Camilleri Ahlgren, with in-depth interviews about their ambitions, passions and their upcoming projects.
