Give your children 12 full weeks of summer fun and help them acquire much needed life skills.

It’s a fact universally acknowledged that physical education and sport have a positive impact on children. They improve motor skills, performance and general potential because skills learnt during play and physical education help a child develop more holistically.

This is precisely why this year, YoYo Kids’ Summer School will be introducing skillastics, an educational tool that teaches children through physical activity.

School and organisations that introduced skillastics found that students look forward to participating 93 per cent of the time. In addition, participating in these activities provides cardiovascular benefits.

All activities are age appropriate to ensure involvement, engagement and safety at all times. Indoor activities are held in an indoor sports hall which has a new rubberised flooring to help keep activities safe and fun. Outdoor activities are held during the early hours of the day in an outdoor play area that is covered with special non-slip paint.

Yoyo Kids’ Summer School will be held between June 28 and September 18 at St Clare College (formerly Sir Adrian Dingli secondary school) in Pembroke. It is open for children aged 4 to 11 years.

The full programme costs €350 (three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and €450 (five days a week, Monday to Friday). Book your child before June 7 and save €25.
