A health warning about the presence of suphites in batches of a brand of chlorella powder has been extended to further lots as well as the company's spirulina powder. 

In a statement, health authorities warned that batches 704121 and 704052 of Naturya organic chlorella powder (with best before dates of March 2020 and January 2020) and 651061, N839011, N709121, 709051, 704052, 709061, 709051, and 709052 (best before dates of March 2019, June, 2020, May 2020 and January 2020) of the brand’s organic spirulina powder contained sulphites which were not declared on the product ingredients label.

Health authorities had issued their first warning about the two products last month.
