Allcare Insurance Agency Limited is one of the local early adopters of Windows 7, Microsoft's new operating system launched late last year.

Windows 7 has already been deployed on more or less half of the company's IT infrastructure. After only two weeks of use of Windows 7 the benefits were already being felt.

"We immediately felt the difference, and a positive one," according to Mark Camilleri, IT and operations manager at Allcare Insurance Agency. "The simplicity in deploying it and using it were very valid elements which contributed towards this difference. Another very important point is the reliability of the system."

The early adoption of Windows 7 in our company has shown that the IT systems and our IT experience provide the peace of mind required to operate smoothly our operations while placing our energy on the actual core of our business. Basically, this was an investment definitely in the right direction for our company, he added.

Infomate Business IT Solutions, also Microsoft gold partners, provided IT consultation to Allcare Ltd. "Windows 7 is really designed with the end user in mind", said Jonathan Vella, technical support manager at Infomate. "We urged Allcare to deploy Windows 7 to benefit from a simplified IT infrastructure which can help them do more of what they want."

At the launch of Windows 7 in December, Microsoft emphasised efficiency and cost-reduction as direct benefits of the new operating system.
