Twenty high school students in Australia were suspended for bullying a staff member on Facebook, a day after a student from another school was suspended for creating a Facebook page prank about a missing boy.

Education Queensland said in a statement today it does not tolerate bullying, harassment and threatening behaviour. It did not give details but said it was working with Facebook to take down the page against the staff member.

Yesterday, a 12th-grade student at a Brisbane Roman Catholic school was suspended after creating a page that offered to return a missing boy if the group attracted one million members.

Missing Queensland boy Daniel Morcombe was abducted at the age of 13 in 2003.

That page has been removed from Facebook.
