Students from San Ġorġ College this morning pulled a 16-tonne Benna milk bowser and dragged it a few metres at Maria Assumpta Girls Secondary School in preparation for the annual Maratona bir-Roti, which will kick off on April 12.

Representatives from the 15 schools within the college pulled at the bowser, which is capable of transporting over 35,000 litres of milk.

The bike marathon is this year raising funds for the Maltese Ursuline Sisters who take care of children in need.
