Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, was presented with the Wolves Supporters Club (Malta) Player of the Year award for 2008-09 prior to a Premiership match played at Molineux recently.

Ebanks-Blake, a product of the Manchester United Academy, was top scorer of the Championship for two seasons in a row. Last season he scored 25 goals to help Wolves gain promotion to the top flight.

Malta Wolves club secretary Joe Barbuto and his wife Lucienne presented Ebanks-Blake with the award at Molineux.
