Air Malta this afternoon warned that should the general strike declared by a trade union in Italy betweem 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. tomorrow materialise, air traffic will be affected.

If the strike takes place, the Air Malta flights to and from Italy will operate as follows:

KM614/5 Malta-Rome-Reggio-Malta will not be affected. KM612 Malta-Reggio-Rome will depart Malta at 7.10 a.m. The flight will leave Reggio Calabria to Rome at 8.45 a.m. KM613 Rome–Malta will leave Fiumicino Airport after 2 p.m. once the strike is over. KM624 Malta-Milan will depart Malta at 12.15 p.m. and KM625 Milan-Malta is expected to land in Malta at 5.10 p.m.

Air Malta said it regretted any inconvenience its passengers may encounter due to circumstances beyond its control.

It urged clients due to travel on the mentioned flights to contact flight enquiries at Malta International Airport on 5004 3333 or the airline's call centre on 2166 2211 for further information about flight arrival/departure times.
