A study will be commissioned by the government to decide on the best way to prevent rough seas from causing further damage in Marsalforn.

A Gozo Ministry spokesman said railings and pavements by the shore were damaged, especially those along the bridge at the end of the valley.
She said repair works were already under way but an estimate of the cost had not yet been drawn up.
