The item Church Neither In Favour Nor Against Stitching, which appeared yesterday, said that Fr Joe Abela was representing the Church's board of film classification when he testified in court against the ban of the play, attributing this statement to the Church itself.

It must be pointed out that the word "not" was inadvertently omitted from the sentence. In fact, the Church insisted that Fr Abela had testified on his own behalf and was not representing the board, which he chairs.

The mistake is regretted.
