StereoCity, courtesy of Quazar, is back for more tonight, hosting the official opening of the newly refurbished Club Elements (ex-Stones/Zero Level). This fully soundproof underground club located in Buġibba (close to Empire Cinemas) features a new dancefloor, new décor and a mind-blowing sound system.
Klifton Nuxx, Lenny Chetcuti and Jason Buhagiar, the organisers behind StereoCity, say that StereoCity is set to be one of the major underground events of the year. The first event was held way back in July 2004 at Red Square, with the following two being held at Vinyl in March and May last year, attracting around 400 clubbers.
Spinning the decks for the night will be DJ Etienne, followed by Clayton Sane (Sane Clubbing) and Audiofreak (Stealth). Glenn Frantz (Pure Promotions) will be playing live, giving some of his latest productions as well. Seasoned DJ Ruby (Pure Promotions) will warm up the crowd for DJ Lenny (Clique resident, StereoCity) who will surely get everyone moving with a stomping three-hour set.
An after-party is being held at Clique courtesy of Silent Clubbin.
Tickets can be obtained from the usual outlets or at the door. Infolines: 9952 1139/9944 0456 or 7980 8303.
Club Elements will also be hosting Kontakt Saturdays, the first in a series of underground music sessions every Saturday, starting from next week, with Malta’s top underground deejays. A wide variety of deejays will be spinning the decks every week including residents Glenn Frantz and Audiofreak plus guests
DJ Ruby, DJ Ryan, Bengy, Clayton Sane, Carl Bee, Miss Roberta, Dre’, Lenny, Migz, Glanville, Deepfunk, Dean Hili and many more.
Carl Bee and Miss Roberta will be giving the latest in underground music from 7 p.m. onwards every Sunday with Elements Sundays.
