The public is informed to steer clear of a particular brand of chicken breast because of a possible presence of salmonella enteritidis.

The product is Green Valley's chicken breast fillets class A with a yellow polystyrene tray wrapped in plastic, origin from Poland and Lot Number 534301 (52). It was frozen on August 19 and has a 'best before end February 2017' date.

The company involved was instructed to recall product in question, however  part of the consignment has probably reached the final consumer.
