The Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin has directed state pharmacy employees not to open on Saturdays until their working conditions improved.

The union said it ordered the industrial action because it felt the government was not working on improving the situation at pharmacies in health centres.

The buildings were left in bad state and were badly understaffed, making it impossible for employees to take their vacation leave, the union said.
