A national strategy on development education will be discussed tomorrow in the first multi-stakeholder meeting.

The meeting aims to address the "growing need" of development education, which seeks to raise people's awareness and understanding of global issues.

Organised by Skop, the national platform for NGDOs, the meeting is a follow-up to a national seminar on the same subject held earlier this year. It will bring together representatives from the ministries of education and foreign affairs, academia, college principles, teachers and civil society.

The meeting will take place at the National Curriculum Centre in Ħamrun between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
