The multi-million euro real estate development Palm City residences recently inaugurated the first of a number of sports and shopping facilities.

These are located within the luxury village, a stone's throw away from Tripoli, with facilities custom-created to cater for the needs of the ever-growing community of expats.

Following the completion of a large percentage of its landscaping and public areas, Palm City tenants will be able to enjoy the first of a number of sports facilities within the complex and also the first of nine retail outlets that will offer services to its tenants in the central pjazza area.

"The four tennis courts and five-a-side football pitch have proved to be popular with residents," said managing director Reuben Xuereb.

Over 100 families and around 200 residents live within the development in Janzour. A supermarket which offers fresh fish and meat, daily baked bread, delicatessen and ready-to-go meals was also opened. There are plans to offer home deliveries across the village.

"The next milestone will be the opening of food and beverage outlets. The focus of these three restaurants will be fun and creativity, with parents and children being able to create their own menus and have their own signature dishes appearing on the restaurant menu," explained Mr Xuereb.
