Rossi: Forward Giuseppe Rossi has joined Spanish club Levante on loan from Fiorentina until June, the clubs said. The former Manchester United player joined Fiorentina in 2013 after spending more than five years at Spanish club Villarreal. The 28-year-old Italy international played 11 games in Serie A this season.

Tomovic: Serbia international Nenad Tomovic has signed a contract extension with Fiorentina, the club have announced. The 28-year-old has extended his stay at the Viola until 2020 after becoming a first-team regular since joining in 2013. Paulo Sousa’s side have enjoyed an impressive campaign to date, rising to third in Serie A with a 2-0 win over Torino this weekend.

Wickham: Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham is facing a three-match ban after being charged with violent conduct by the FA for allegedly elbowing Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen in the face in an incident missed by referee Martin Atkinson on Saturday. Wickham was caught on camera smashing his elbow into the Belgium international’s face during a chase in the Spurs area in the second half of their league match that Spurs won 3-1 at Selhurst Park.

Carrasso: Bordeaux have been dealt a big “blow” with the news that goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso has suffered knee ligament damage. The 34-year-old was taken off in Les Girondins’ 2-2 draw with Nantes on Saturday and the club has confirmed that he has ruptured his cruciate ligament.
