Lahm: Injured defender Philipp Lahm should be able join his Germany team-mates in Sardinia tomorrow, the German Football Federation said yesterday. Lahm, the first-choice left-back for the World Cup hosts, had surgery on an elbow injury on Wednesday and the DFB had originally said he would skip the Sardinia camp entirely.

Park Ji-sung: Park Ji-sung is likely to miss South Korea's World Cup warm-up match against Senegal on May 23 due to injury. The Manchester United midfielder is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained in a Premier League match just over two weeks ago.

Warnock: Manager Neil Warnock will have to watch Sheffield United's first two games back in the Premier League from the grandstand after being banned from the touchline by the FA. Warnock was banned from the touchline for six games, four of which were suspended. The ban followed an incident in a 1-1 draw against Leeds in a second division match in April.

Jancker: Former Germany striker Carsten Jancker is in negotiations for a possible move to China's Shanghai Shenhua. The 1.94-metre tall Jancker, free to leave Kaiserslautern after their relegation from the Bundesliga last week, trained with the Shenhua team on Wednesday.

In England: League Two play-off semi-final - Cheltenham vs Wycombe Wanderers 0-0 (Cheltenham win 2-1 on aggregate).

MFA Division Two: Promotion play-offs - Sirens vs Rabat Ajax 0-1; Sta Lucija vs Gzira 0-5.
