The former Soviet international, who led Dynamo to the league and cup double last season, was replaced by the club's vice-president and former coach Josef Sabo.

Steaua Coach: Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal will not allow Cosmin Olaroiu to return to Romania to coach Steaua Bucharest following the resignation of Gheorghe Hagi. Hagi quit Steaua on Thursday and blamed owner Gigi Becali for undermining his authority as coach. Becali had said he would ask Olaroiu to return to take over the team. Galliani: Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has laughed off suggestions that Jose Mourinho might end up at the San Siro. "He can do one week at Inter and one at Milan," Galliani joked to reporters. Inter president Massimo Moratti said in midweek he was happy with coach Roberto Mancini and was not interested in the former Chelsea coach, who has been linked with a move to Italy.
