Duscher: Sevilla have agreed to sign Argentina midfielder Aldo Duscher from Racing Santander on a three-year contract, the Primera Liga club said. The 29-year-old hit the headlines in April 2002 when he broke a bone in David Beckham's foot during a Champions League quarter-final at Old Trafford, almost putting the England midfielder out of the World Cup.

Lehmann: Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has decided to end his international career, the German Soccer Federation (DFB) said yesterday. The 38-year-old VfB Stuttgart keeper, who played for Germany 61 times, had talks with national coach Joachim Loew in Stuttgart yesterday before making his decision.

Litmanen: Finland captain Jari Litmanen, 37, has signed a contract until the end of the season with FC Lahti, the town of his birth, the club said yesterday. Litmanen, who has played for Ajax and Barcelona, had a spell with Fulham last season but made no appearances for the London side.

Nesta: Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said he was more concerned about defender Alessandro Nesta's back problem than Brazil forward Kaka's nagging knee injury. "I've more worries about Nesta's situation than Kaka's because his problem is more complicated," Ancelotti said. "Nesta has quite a serious back problem we're trying to resolve. I don't know what the recovery times are."
