Belgrade derby: Serbian league leaders Partizan drew 1-1 with Red Star in a pulsating Belgrade derby yesterday to stay five points clear of the champions with nine matches left. Red Star took a deserved 22nd-minute lead when Montenegro striker Igor Burzanovic capitalised on a defensive blunder to score. Brazilian midfielder Juca equalised for Partizan with a left-foot volley from the edge of the penalty area after Zoran Tosic delivered a perfect low cross on 29 minutes.
Tunisia coach: Tunisia's football federation named Frenchman Bertrand Marchand as their preferred candidate to become the new national team coach. However, a list of three names had been forwarded to the country's sports ministry for a final decision.
