King: Injury-plagued England defender Ledley King will not play again this season, his club Tottenham Hotspur said yesterday. "My knee is actually feeling good at the moment and there is no inflammation, but we have to look at the bigger picture and accept that this is an ideal point in time to recover further, get best advice and make sure that I come back fitter," King told the club's website.

FIFA: World soccer's governing body FIFA have named former Swissair spokesman Hans Klaus as their new director of communications. Klaus, 42, takes over from Markus Siegler who left FIFA last September, citing "differing opinions about the future structure and direction".

Ticket restrictions: There will be restrictions on several Serie A games in April, including Juventus-Milan and Roma-Catania, to avoid crowd trouble. The biggest tie to be affected is Juventus-Milan on April 12, when only one ticket per person will be released.

Lennon: Former Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon has returned to Parkhead as a first team coach, the club's website said yesterday. He left last year for Nottingham Forest and has also had a spell at Wycombe Wanderers.
