Riga: Levante striker Riga, who scored one and set up two in his side 3-2 win over Real Murcia on Sunday, is determined to leave the Primera Liga club before the transfer window ends tomorrow because of the club's failure to keep up with his salary payments. "I played against Murcia out of respect for my team-mates, the coach and the fans, but I still want to go because the people that run this club are not serious."

Dida returns: Milan goalkeeper Dida has returned to the squad for today's league match at Reggina. The Serie A club said Dida recovered from a knock and tiredness.

Ronaldinho: Barcelona forward Ronaldinho has been given permission to return to training with the rest of the squad after recovering from a problem with his left knee. The Brazil international has not played for the side since the 1-0 home defeat to Real Madrid on Dec. 23.

Friendly: Spain will host Italy in a friendly in Elche on March 26, the Italian soccer federation said in a statement.

Grimi: Sporting have signed Argentine defender Leandro Grimi on loan from Italy's Milan for the rest of the season. The deal includes an option to buy the 22-year-old player for a fee of around three million euros.

West Brom: South Korea's Kim Do-heon has agreed to move to English Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion, the midfielder's K-League club said yesterday. The deal would be finalised after Kim completed a medical, Jeong said, without giving any financial details of the transfer. The 25-year-old Kim was a member of the South Korean national team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

France: France have compiled an impressive list of warm-up matches for the European championship finals in Austria and Switzerland in June, adding three South American teams to fixtures with Spain and England. The French, away to Spain in Malaga on Feb. 6 and at home to England at the Stade de France on March 26, will meet Ecuador in Grenoble on May 27, Paraguay in Toulouse on May 31 and Colombia in Paris on June 3.

Strachan: Scottish champions Celtic will appeal against a four-game touchline ban imposed on manager Gordon Strachan by the Scottish FA. Strachan was found guilty of unacceptable conduct after an incident involving a steward during a league match against Aberdeen and was sent from the dugout.
