Moratti Waits: Inter president Massimo Moratti is coy about a move for Manchester City's midfielder Elano during the transfer window. "I don't know him very well. From an economic point of view it doesn't seem like a simple deal. I'll wait to understand more. We don't need to rush and it is not only him," he said.

Cameroon: Twice African champions Cameroon have cancelled their pre-Nations Cup training camp in Kenya because of post-election violence in the east African nation, coach Otto Pfister said in Yaounde. Getafe's Oscar Ustari and Villarreal's Diego Lopez are reported to be top of the club's list of possible replacements.

Diatta: Senegal captain Lamine Diatta has quit Besiktas after reaching a financial agreement with the Turkish club. "I wanted to leave for personal reasons. For sure, I will do everything to make him stay."

Almiron: Out-of-favour Juventus midfielder Sergio Almiron is attracting interest from Olympiakos and River Plate, the Argentine's agent has said.
