To celebrate the 30th anniversary since Gzira United FC won the FA Trophy, the club is launching a commemorative membership card for the upcoming 2003/04 season. Gzira won the 1973 FA Trophy against Birkirkara 2-0 after two replays. Those interested in acquiring the card may obtain more details by phoning club president Alfred Baldacchino (9949-9335) or treasurer Jean Borg (9982-5691).

Floriana FC Nursery

Floriana FC is currently receiving applications from young footballers between five and 16 wishing to join their nursery next season. Application forms may be collected from the nursery premises at the Independence Arena training headquarters or from the Vilhena Band Club. Applications have to be sent to the Nursery Secretary Floriana FC, 28, St Anne Street, Floriana, by not later than August 20.
