The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anglu Farrugia, is on an official visit to Australia, the government said.

He visited polling stations in Sydney today and had a meeting with officials of the Maltese Community Resource Centre in Parramatta West.

He also met officials of the Malta Community Council of New South Wales and the La Vallette Social Centre in Blacktown and called at St. Dominic's Hostel for the Aged, where he was shown around by Sr. Georgina Sultana.
