A boy checks out a huge tuna not long before it was removed from Għar id-Dud, Sliema, yesterday. The fish drifted ashore three days ago, attracting flies and repelling people away with its smell of rotten fish. Two days ago, a couple of men hoisted the carcass onto the quay where it has been rotting since, despite repeated calls to the authorities by the owner of a nearby kiosk. It was taken away a few hours after being flagged on timesofmalta.com.
