The Prime Minister keeps harping on what has been done and what is going to be done on corruption etc. Yet, if I may, I would like to mention just a few outstanding important issues, among others, that surely require to be addressed:

.) The rampant and monstrous high-rise buildings, blessed by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, and which continue to flourish, particularly in Sliema, St Julians and other buildings outside development zones.

.) The BWSC contract for the power station extension, which has apparently been sanctioned.

.) The EU educational grants, which were suspended.

.) Traffic problems, indisciplined drivers, poisonous fumes and the mismanagement of roads and lack of parking.

.) VAT lottery scam.

.) Boat and driving licences issued against payment.

.) The Gozo Channel issue.

.) Continuous hunting abuse.

.) Irregularities at local councils.

.) Unspent EU funds.

.) The continued extraction of underground fresh water, having now caused irreversible damage to the water table.

.) The long-awaited transport system overhaul.

Perhaps the Prime Minister could enlighten us or is he going to sweep it all under the carpet until the next general election for Joseph Muscat to come and clean up the dirty work?!
