Some buses have returned to bus bays around the Tritons Fountain, temporarily, until the nearby Valletta terminus is extended.

Buses serving the Sliema area have been allocated temporary bays around the Tritons fountain, last used as a terminus in July, when the new Arriva service was introduced.

The bus service will see a considerable rise in services as from next week, when routes from all localities to Valletta will be re-introduced.

The company has announced it will import an additional 36 buses to handle the demand. The Valletta terminus will remain at St James Ditch but is being extended by four bays.
