The Central Joint Committee for the Enforcement of the Law and Public Order condemns the incident that took place in Żebbuġ recently when a local warden was injured by an aggressor while he was attending to his duties.

This incident could have had dire consequences, as a person who had just broken the law drove his vehicle in the direction of the warden in a hit-and-run incident.

The Central Joint Committee, comprising of Qormi, Siġġiewi, Żebbuġ, Ħamrun, Msida and Pietà local councils, would like to express its solidarity and publicly ask the law courts to take such incidents very seriously and take into consideration the nature of such crimes.
