The Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce hosted a social evening to welcome Beatrice le Fraper du Hellen as the new French Ambassador to Malta at The Villa in Balluta.

In his welcome adddress, Chamber president, Joseph Bugeja, reiterated the Chamber’s commitment to keep supporting initiatives that would contribute to further growth and development between the two countries.

“We have already had the opportunity to meet during a number of meetings with Madam Ambassador and we have clearly observed from the outset the dynamism that she brings with her. We are keen to be very close collaborators with the French embassy, while as facilitators, we look forward to further developing the relations between Malta and France through a more flexible and dynamic approach that facilitates business,” said Bugeja.

Bugeja thanked Bank of Valletta as the Chamber’s banking partner for its constant support and the Chamber’s council and all members who through their loyalty and commitment continue to support its activities. He, then presented a memento to the ambassador.
