Appreciation - Sharon Bonnici

Her colleagues at the MFSA write:

Sharon Bonnici entered her new life on her 31st birthday. She had worked with us at the Malta Financial Services Authority for 12 years, always helpful, joyful and committed.

Sharon knew that, immediately after the Yuletide festivities she had to be away from her duties for personal reasons. On December 30, 2005 she joined us all for drinks that we had organised to exchange new year greetings, after which we all went home. Rather than leaving at the end to have some more time with her family, she chose to stay and finish off a task that had to be ready by the end of the year.

That was Sharon! As a dedicated employee, meeting deadlines without being a burden on her colleagues was one of the hallmarks of her impeccable work ethic. Her record as a person and as an employee was one that should be followed. More than a colleague, Sharon was a genuine friend, always there for us all with her cheerful attitude and a winning smile that we shall miss.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest, be a guide to her beloved daughter and give strength to her husband Mark, relatives and friends.
