English language courses

The Royal British Legion (Malta Branch) will be organising English language courses in Valletta at the legion's headquarters, 111, Triq Melita, Valletta on Saturday mornings for Years 4, 5, 6 and Forms 1 and 2 as from October 6 and on Wednesday afternoons at 5.15 and 6.15 p.m. for Forms 3, 4 and 5 as from October 10.

In Gozo, the course will be held on Monday afternoon, as from next month at the Ninu Cremona Junior Lyceum in Victoria.

Meetings for freshers

The university chaplaincy will hold a meeting for freshers tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. at the university chapel.

The meeting will enable freshers to meet other freshers in their course.

Play on St Thomas More

The play Hati Ghax Habb will be presented by All For One Productions on September 29 and 30 at 6.30 p.m. at the Catholic Institute, in Floriana.

Written by Anthony Buttigieg, the play will be directed by Frederick Camilleri and deals with the life of St Thomas More who was Chancellor of England.

The play has been given a universal rating by the censors.

Retreat
