Obituary
BEATTIE. On January 3, WARWICK JOHN, aged 81, passed peacefully away after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his devoted son Philip, his sister Bertha and her husband Cecil Renwick, and their sons Gary and Douglas, his nieces Gaby, wife of Dr Mark Formosa, and Suzanne, wife of Dr Paul Mangion, as well as his nephew Dr Peter Carbonaro and his wife Caroline, relatives and his many friends.
The funeral service will be conducted at the chapel of the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery today at 2 p.m.
Lord grant him eternal rest. A prayer for the repose of his immortal soul is solicited.
DALLI. On January 5, VINCENT of Gzira (ex-Prop. Dalli Garage), aged 84, widower of Carmela, née Sghendo, passed peacefully away after a short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted son Louis and his wife Lydia, Rosemarie, widow of his son Albert, and his grandchildren Reuben, Nicolai, Graziella, Gertrude and Alexei and their families, his great-grandchildren, his sisters Nina and Stella and families, sisters-in-law and families, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for Gzira parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
DeBONO. On January 5, at his residence, MAURICE V. of Cospicua, aged 75, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Imelda, his children Fr Jose, OCD, and Fr Juan, OCD, Miguel and his wife Charmaine, his four grandchildren Joshua, Pablo, Andrea and Maria Milagros, his brothers and sisters Herbert, Ivy, Mario and Sue, their in-laws, his wife's brother and sister, Canon Joseph Zammit and Aida Zammit, other relatives and many friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 10.30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
