BALDACCHINO. On March 5, SAVIOUR, of Hamrun residing at Sliema, aged 66, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his children Brigitte wife of Mario Mifsud and Romina wife of Paul Agius Cutajar, his grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Marlene widow of Hector Mifsud, Alfred and his wife Maria, Alex widower of Antoinette née Blackman, Ronald, Tessie and her husband Alfred Magro, Herbert and his wife Gracy, Dorothy, Dennis and his wife Isabelle and Adrian and his wife Nathalie, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Nazzarenu parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
Lord grant him eternal rest.

CACHIA. On March 4, at St Luke's Hospital, ANTONIA (Ninnie) of Valletta, aged 77, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister Josephine and her husband Joe, her sister Maria, widow of Paul Cassar, her brother-in-law Michael Zammit, widower of her sister Sissie, her brother Emmanuel and his wife Rose of USA, all her nephews, in particular Fr John Xerri, OP, of Rome, nieces, relatives and many friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Dutch Poultry

The importation of live birds or poultry, of hatching eggs and of poultry products from the Netherlands has been suspended because of an outbreak of Avian Flu in that country, the director general for food and veterinary activity said yesterday.

Car Stolen

A silver Ford Focus car, registration VIK 166, was reported stolen from Malta International Airport on Friday. Anyone having information about its whereabouts is asked to call Merlin Car Hire on tel. 2122 3131 or the police.

New Library

A new library has been opened at Mtarfa council, named after the first rector of the locality, Fr Mikiel Saliba.

The library will be open every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Water Cuts

Parts of Nadur will be without water tomorrow because of maintenance works, the Water Services Corporation said.
