I write because I'm astounded that a very important letter posted "Express" by a local bank took five days to arrive at my door in the UK. The postal service in the UK is of a high standard and any first class post posted anywhere in the UK is guaranteed to arrive the next day, and it does.

So, the excessive delay of my express mail arriving from Malta can only be blamed on MaltaPost's inefficiency. Surely, with so many daily flights from Malta to the UK, my letter should have arrived within a maximum of two days, at most.
