Bank of Valletta has launched the BoV SMS Notification Service, a convenient way for customers to receive information regarding accounts currently held with the Bank and other useful information relating to processed transactions.

Customers who subscribe to the BoV SMS Notification Service receive timely information via SMS about the maturity and renewal of their term deposit accounts, direct debit withdrawals, direct credit deposits, credit transfers, the encashment of cheques exceeding a pre-established threshold, as well as balances of an account higher or lower than pre-established amounts.

"Bank of Valletta acknowledges that its customers need up to date information about their finances", said Ray Azzopardi, executive head multi-channel banking at Bank of Valletta.

"Nowadays almost everyone makes use of mobile telephony and SMS messages are the fastest way to receive information. The BoV SMS Notification Service is yet another initiative by Bank of Valletta to provide added value to its customers."

Customers can subscribe to the BoV SMS Notification Services by applying through BoV 24x7 Internet Banking Services Channel or by visiting any branch. Alternatively customers can call BoV's Customer Service Centre on 2131 2020. Further information can be obtained from Bank of Valletta's website www.bov.com.
