The electricity supply to the law courts was cut this morning after a ground floor fuse box caught fire.

An eyewitness said the fuse box near the lift 'just exploded' and caught fire. A woman was caught in a lift as the power was lost and she was rescued a short time later.

Policemen who were in the immediate vicinity asked people to leave to building. Firemen from the Civil Protection Department were on the scene.

However court activity quickly resumed after the incident.
