Industrial production in March fell by one per cent over the corresponding month last year, the National Statistics Office said yesterday.

Decreases were registered in the production of intermediate goods (11.2 per cent), while increases were recorded in the production of consumer goods (5.9 per cent), capital goods (3.9 per cent) and energy (2.7 per cent).

Compared to February, Malta’s industrial production in March dropped by 0.4 per cent.
