A group of 18 junior players from the Sliema ASC U-16 and U-19 squads are currently in Rijeka, Croatia, for a pre-season training camp.

The Sliema party is being hosted by VK Primorje EB, former club of Sergio Afric now Malta and Sliema ASC coach.

The training camp is being held at the new Kontrida Complex, venue of the Euro League Final Four in May this year. Prior to their departure from Malta, the Sliema contingent was hosted at the airport outlet of McDonald's, the club's main sponsor.

The group is being led by U-16 coach Carlos Cluett and club officials Karl Galea and Tony Psaila.
