Heritage Malta is organising a late evening walk to Ta’ Kaċċatura,  limits of Birżebbuġa, visiting the remains of a Roman villa and Casa Ipolitto, an abandoned 17th-century farmhouse.

The group will then head to the Bronze Age temple of Borġ in-Nadur and Għar Dalam cave. Along the way, participants will learn about the night fauna of the Maltese islands, such as bats and moths, while listening to crickets. Refreshments, in the form of a light evening meal and breakfast, will be served after the sleepover, either outside or inside Għar Dalam.

The tour starts today at 7pm and will run until 8am tomorrow. Tickets are available from all Heritage Malta sites and museums and online from heritagemalta.org. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as the tour will involve a considerable amount of walking on rough terrain in the dark. Participants should bring along their own sleeping bag, mattress or small tent, as well as a water bottle and torchlight.
