A skydiver whose parachute collapsed as he was photographing skydiving tandems died after crashing through a condo roof in Texas.
Witnesses said the man's parachute opened but collapsed when he turned into the wind to land in Port Aransas, a coastal town about 15 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.
A US Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said the experienced skydiver survived the initial impact but later died of his injuries.
Police said the man was a Hungarian national who worked for Sky Dive Atlas of Gardner, New York, which was handling the morning jump. His name hasn't been released.
A company spokesman said the man had made more than 10,000 previous jumps.
