Nationalist Party leader Simon Busuttil has congratulated David Cameron for his success in the UK election.

Mr Cameron won a stunning election victory in Britain to sweep into office for another five years with a clear majority.

In his letter, Dr Busuttil told Mr Cameron:

“Having you at the helm of the British government augurs well for the future of the United Kingdom.”

Dr Busuttil said he looked forward to meeting Mr Cameron in Malta during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Malta in November.
