Labour MP Silvio Parnis has announced a grand launch of his electoral campaign.

The event, this Friday, is called the Parnis Summer Family Fest, which will be held in Paola.

In a statement, Mr Parnis said the fest will offer a spectacle of established artists including Richard Edwards, Petra, Justine, Josmar, Domenique, Florane, Hooligan, and Thomas Headley, along with food and drink stands, a PL stand selling party  momentos, a healthcare stand  by the Campaign Against Cancer, a stand by the ‘Fondazzjoni M’Intix Waħdek’, Red Touch Phone and a stand selling jewellery.

There will also be face painting, bouncing castles and characters for kids including Gawdenz Bilocca, Barney, Mickey and Mini Mouse, and Bob the Builder among others.

The evening will feature a lottery with a  prize of over €8,000.

Labour Party Joseph Muscat will attend and will address those present.

Mr Parnis is a candidate for the fourth district and Labour’s spokesperson for the Sustainable Development of the South of Malta.
