The society promotes the view that Vittoriosa contributes significantly to the national heritage.

The essay must be between 1,000 and 1,500 words, in Maltese or English. More than one entry may be submitted and name, address, telephone number, age and school/college must be stipulated.

The script should be sent to The Secretary, Historical and Cultural Society, Dar it-Tmienja ta’ Settembru, Pjazza Vittoriosa, Vittoriosa.

The closing date is April 30.

Agenda Bookshop will award book prizes to the winning entry in Maltese and the winning entry in English.

Certificates of participation will be given to all entrants.
