The electricity supply to parts of Valletta and Marsa was suspended for a short period this morning after a third party contractor working close to Marsa Wharf hit a feeder cable.

Enemalta said the cable was hit at 8.48 a.m. Enemalta engineers and technicians were sent on site to investigate and repair the fault.

Supply to Valletta was reinstated at 10.10 a.m., with the rest of the supply being fully restored by 10.30 a.m.
