Albert Moses, the actor and producer who earned international fame thanks to his interpretation of the Indian student in Mind Your Language, has just finished directing and producing a film called Accidental Death in Gozo.

The main cast consisted of Charlo Bonnici and Ruth Frendo, both Maltese actors, and all the locations were shot in different areas around the island of Gozo.

The short film, which will be around 40 minutes long, was shot over six days where the crew (consisting of Alvin Scicluna and his team) and cast were working 12-hour days. The thriller recounts the story of a couple who went bankrupt and have a plan to obtain what they think is "easy money".

But that is only part of the story since the film is packed with twists until the very end. Albert Moses, who also wrote the script, stars in the film as a cameo, Hitchcock style. The film was shot on wide-screen.
