Last year at Lotusphere, local software development company Shireburn won IBM's prestigious Chief Technology Officer Innovation Award for visionary innovation in its Integra for Notes Symphony Edition.

This year the success continues, as Integra has been nominated as a finalist for two more awards in the Lotus Awards. Again a finalist for the CTO award, Integra has also been nominated for the Best in Showcase Award.

Integra for Notes allows users of IBM Lotus Notes to integrate their Notes data with Microsoft Office and IBM Lotus Symphony providing reporting and mail merge facilities and integrating Office documents into the Notes business processes.

The CTO Innovation Award recognises those visionary IBM Business Partners who are leading the technology charge by exploiting Lotus' and WebSphere Portals latest capabilities in innovative, leading-edge, and exciting new ways.

Innovation is crucial in the software business and these awards show how Shireburn continues to leverage new technology to provide greater value to its users.

The Best in Showcase award recognises an IBM Business Partner that has adopted and leveraged the latest Lotus technologies and has made a significant investment in IBM and Lotus.

Out of the 170 exhibitors, the judges are looking for an exhibit on the Showcase floor that demonstrates a fresh, unique and powerful solution that provides significant customer value.

The winners will be announced at the general session of Lotusphere 2010 taking place this week.
